...and we're back!

Four years, ten papers and a lot of coffee, all leading to one PhD thesis, submitted last friday. Phew what a relief!

I should now have more time to commit to the club and the site. Straight to it so, the next meeting of the Irish Robotics Club will be held in the Science Gallery on 28th of October.  I hope to have an interesting speaker for the meeting lined up.  But what would be even better is if some of the members would speak about their own projects (even for 5-10mins).  No matter how small/big, basic/complex, successful/burned down your garage, your project is,  it would be great to hear about it. It's your club after all. But that's not all.. to sweeten the deal the best talk  will get a Maker's notebook! (see Below). Comment here, post in the forum or email me if you would like to talk at the next meeting.

I entered the photos of the soldering workshop we ran over the summer into a Make Magazine competition and we won a runners up prize. Hurrah!  and you guessed it, they are sending us a maker's notebook!
